I will be building my first AR15 from a kit next month. The price of the kit and the lower will pretty much break me. I am getting a flat top upper, and I need some kind of optic. Until I can get enough money for an Aimpoint, I will probably buy a cheap red-dot sight. Have any of you guys ever used a cheap sight like a Tasco, Bushnell, or BSA? Did it cause any problems? What would you suggest for a cheapo first time red-dot sight?

[blue]EOTech is the way to go. Price, durability and accurate. You could save a few dollars on something of lesser quality but this is a firearm my friend. My rule is this; Can't afford quality? Wait 'till you can. Cheap crap that breaks or fails is more of a liability than money saved. My .02[/blue]
