| What should I get? I have heard MagPul P-Mags are good. What else is out there that I should look at? Where is a good place to get/order them? Having one mag just sucks. |
| Take a look at the D&H mags offered by Bravo Company. I have about a dozen of the Teflon coated mags and am very pleased with them. Plus, B Co. has some of the fastest shipping out there. I think their building must literally butt up against the local post office! |

You should at least quickly get three extra mags as a minimum. Maybe get different mags to sample like, USGI, D&H Teflon finish, PMAG, C Products stainless, etc., then buy more of the one you like. Most of my mags are DSG Arms-D&H Teflon finished in gray and black also my most used mags are upgraded with Magpul anti-tilt followers, Magpul Ranger plates and Wolff extra power springs, plus I'm getting more PMAGs. A good place to get them is with our ARFCOM dealers at the Equipment Exchange mags section. AR15 Magazine FAQ from the Mag Forum - link |
+1 the DHs imo are the best overall for the price |
Pmags are great, but you can get a standard USGI mag and put a magpul follower in it, and it will work 100% each and every time. I just installed the magpul followers on all my steel magazines, and I'll never have anything different again. There was a group buy a while back from 44mag.com where you could get a standard USGI mag for 9.89, but it didn't include the upgraded follower. |
Aimsurplus.com has Magpuls for $14.20. |
Bought one, to try out, resulted in me buying five more for Christmas. They are that good. Support our vendors to the max. Merry Christmas to all. FreedomUSCG |

I have used USGI mags for most of my life. Since the Pmags have been commercially available I have not bought another USGI. Everytime I put in a Brownells order I add a couple Pmags. They really are that good. I won't be getting rid of my USGI bodies anytime soon, but I plan on amassing as many Pmags as I can. |

I have not used the Pmags get but here very good things about them. I have a decent amount of pre-ban LaBelle Industries teflon and lovem. I have also had good luck w/ Okay Industrues mags. \ Top magazines = piece of mind and reliability!! Bravo Co is great to deal w. Fast shipping and fair prices. |
I've used USGI 30rd mags until recently when I finally ordered a bunch of windowed P-Mags. I'm hooked, but I'm partial to MagPul products anyway. I'd buy a few while they're available...you won't be disappointed. |
Listen to this man. He knows all |
+1,000,000 I only buy mags from www.44mag.com. Fast shipping and great prices. BTW, I like Magpul Pmags as my go to magazines. I've got a few aluminum bodied mags but the Pmags are more 21st century |
+1 I've bought all kinds of stuff from them. Fast service and great prices. |
+2 There is no better than 44MAG.com |
|
I have a hell of alot of C products mags and they have been very reliable and a good choice. If my initial testing of P mags goes well tomorrow, then all of my future mags will be P mags from now on. I bought 10 p mags to try out, and I hope they shoot as good as they look. They are extremely smooth. |
+1 on 44MAG.COM. And they are a site sponsor! Their shipping times are pretty quick, prices are good. I have had no problems with their mags. |
