I picked up my DPMS Classic 16 today. I was able to score it for $899 which in today's market is a steal IMO. It joins an HK USPc .40 and a Kel-Tec SU-16 I had picked up in case I couldn't get my hands on an AR before the new administration bans them. Thankfully I was on the phone with the store at the exact moment someone took it off of layaway and I was able to put it on layaway right then and was able to pick it up today. I am still kicking my self for waiting until now to buy one but live and learn. At least I have one now.
