Looks damn near identical to my first AR too. You better get a raincoat though or you won't shoot for 5 months.

Well done, sir!  Nice looking heavy duty vise, too.  Is that an old strong as an ox USA made Craftsman by chance?

I don't live too far from Federal Way Discount Guns. I may go there soon. Have to buy ammo first. It won't be sighted in, but at least I can fire it.

Another group I go to has an annual shoot on New Years Day. I does get cold though. I may end up missing it though if I have to work.

The vice was given to me for free by a former coworker. It belonged to his father in law who passed away a few years ago. Not sure who made it but it is old and it is heavy. It actually way too big for that bench. It's heavy enough that I don't have it bolted down on this bench.

Those old American made vises are much better made than the mostly Chineze stuff sold today.  Hang onto that thing.  It will last several more lifetimes.  I have an old  Craftsman, red like that, made in the '60s, about the same size but has an anvil on the back. I don't know how I could get by without it.

Sorry for the diversion.  Nice AR build.
