hi. New to this forum.

Looking to build my first AR.  (Will be both my first AR and first AR build)

This will be a rifle for range fun / plinking. Maybe some coyote shooting.

Started shooting a coupe of years ago via the 10-22 (.22lr is a gateway round). Really enjoy tinkering with / modifying it. So much that I'm a receiver away from having 2 10-22's.

Figured it was time to try out the AR platform.

Have already purchased a stag lower. Have a lower parts kit coming in from PSA.

Was thinking buying a completed upper would be the way to go to complete the rifle.

Any recommendations on decent value completed uppers?  Was thinking 16" barrel, mid length gas.
Not looking to break the bank on this first go around.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I have been very happy with my PSA complete upper.  It has a CHF barrel.  Not sure that PSA offers them anymore.  Have been hearing good things about uppers from Radical Firearms lately, although I don't own one.
