Started this build after buying a Sig 556.  I have built a few AR's but no pistons.  I went with the carbine length kit on a an LMT M4 conuture 16" barrel.  I got a 9" LWRCi rail system and had to modify it to house the AA gas block.  Found a Core 15 Billet Hard Core lower at Shoot Straight in Clearwater (Very cool place and friendly staff).  Its Kind of odd in the magwell area but you get used to it!  Duracoated it Desert Warrior Tan and topped it off with TA31RCO-A4CP ACOG.

(YES THATS A FAKE CAN!  The Blackout will be here Friday!  I had nothing else to put on it for pictures)

Better pics to come!

Looks good! Thanks for sharing.

I'm thinking about an AA piston build myself and I've got a question you can probably answer.
The AA kit comes with the gas block, piston and bolt carrier. All that is needed to complete the BCG is a bolt, correct?
This will be my first AR build so I'm trying to make sure I'm not missing anything. Thanks!

All you need is a bolt, firing pin and cam!  It has everything else you need!  Shoots great to!

What brand handguard do you have? I just installed a carbine piston kit on my rifle and don't care for the handguards that came with the kit.

I have one of the Adams Arms uppers and love it........
Only thing, I have tried to contact the company by phone and e mail, but no answer.

I need to order spare parts and would order another upper (great system and accurate) but if spares are not available....I won't .

Have you been able to order parts and if so, please advise how.

thanks

Just sharing the love buddy!!

I have not had to buy any parts!  No problems after about 1500 rounds.   Awesome piston.
