Is the extra $20 worth it to get the NIB bolt as well? Any thoughts on these BCGs? Thx.

Or this. Nickle boron is worth it in SBRs or suppressed rifles but in a 16"-14.5 carbine (I have one in a 10.5 5.56) its not worth it IMO. Its just easier to clean. That's it. I've never heard of the company you listed op. AIM is gtg. I have several of there bcgs and they have been flawless. |

I've been seeing that maybe there are some issues with the latest NiB BCGs coming out of AIM, any thoughts folks? I emailed the company that I linked to find out who/where their BCGs are made, we'll see. |

It's stained and is pretty much halfway to looking like a standard phosphate BCG. Last time I cleaned them together, both shooting suppressed, they wiped down with an equal amount of work. |

Glad I am not the only one not happy with NIB. I found chrome and black nitride much easier to clean. I also ran a can. |

So, after a few email exchanges with the folks at Prime Weaponry, I decided to go with a NiB/Nitride Hybrid. I'm excited as this is the last piece for my build. I'll do a review, at least from my Newbie perspective after I get it.

Well, I went with a BCG from PrimeWeaponry. They had great customer service and really fast, free shipping. It was shipped on a Friday from MN and I received it in the mail on Monday on a little island in WA. It looks really nice and shoots well. I've only fired about twenty rounds so far though.
I'm not sure how to post pics here, or I would. Thanks |
