This is my first attempt at an AR-15 build.  It's been done for some time but I'm just now getting around to taking pictures.

Lower:

wear gloves or get some covers for that YHM rail... I had one on my first build and it cut the shit out of my hands during drills.

Yeah, rail covers are on the list, along with a few other things, as budget allows.

Nice looks like we went the same way with our lower builds. It was my first to and everything went together rather easy congrats on your first build.

Nice! now we need a full size pic with your feet showing. Is that 6P LED sporting a Q5 lamp? I've got the same Light and Larue mount set up.Except mine is on the side to make way for the VFG. I like it.

Yeah, I got the drop in lamp, noticed a pretty big difference.  I'm still undecided on the FG, whether I want VFG, Magpul's AFG or if I even want to run one at all.
