-Suggestions on other options/better vendors let me know Thanks

sounds good. the important parts (upper and bcg) are all high quality parts. I have the same upper, bcg and lpk on my rifle and has done great so far on its first 300 rds

and what i read, the mid-length system will be better for a 16" barrel plus it looks better. but ppl run the carbine length too w/ no problems it seems

alright so i think i'm going to go with the Mid Lenth, and probably the Magpul ACS Carbine Stock, Mil-Spec  but may run by my local gun shop to check the fit and weight and depending on this if i like both i probably will go witht the MOE due to money restriants but if it the ACS is what i like i'd rather purchase the one i want and i will just have fork over the extra cash.

Any other suggestions on the build from anyone?

1 - Definitely stay with the Middy gas system.  I have a middy and a carbine and the middy is much smoother cycling.  I am a firm believer in going with the longest gas system you can fit on your barrel.
2 - Go with the BCM GunFighter charging handle.  It has a nice tactical latch that transfers the torque of a single handed pull to the rear of the handle instead of the roll pin.  Very nice design.
3 - Don't go with the MAGPUL MOE stock....both the ACS and CTR are way better choices.

Good luck, post some pics of the process.

If i'm looking to pick up a an Armorors rench, kind of stupid question but is there one out there which can do barrels and stock installations all in one and where is a good place to pick up a good Action Block?

Figured i better start purchasing tools before i begin my build, any suggestions on where and the brands which are good quality ?

Thank Ryan

I orginally wanted to get the gunfighter charging handle but was not sure what benefit i would recieve for the extra $20 but with this information i think ill probably go with the gunfighter charging handle, thanks for the advice

pictures will be submitted once i start purchasing parts/start the build within the next couple of month....

One other questions, what lower actually would look good with the BCM Upper? i know different manufactures have different finishes and its hard to match but does anyone have any experience with BCM Uppers who can give me some insight in which lower might match best? Thanks

Just picked up 2 Spikes Lowers for this build and hopefully the next build, now its just a waiting game for these items to ship. i will keep everyone updated. i guess i better read up on the "how to post pictures thread" so i can start posting the build in progress once i get parts in.

I highly recommend using the vise grip/ channel lock aproach for the roll pins. I have put together 4 now without a scratch.
