First, I've been reading up on the ins and outs of everything ar-15 and know I have a lot to learn.

A quick search failed to answer my question, so here it is...

I will be purchasing the upper and associated parts for my first build in the next couple of weeks, I already have my stripped lower and a Magpul MAID grip and couple of mags.

Originally I as going to purchase the Stag 2H from the group buy that is going on over in the EE Group Buy section, however I found this Del-ton m4
The Del-ton appears to be with out BUIS and a magazine, but comes in a 1-7 twist chrome lined barrel and is approximately 100 dollars less.  The description JSE doesn't really go any further (no mention go mil-spec or not on buffer tube etc), but from other threads and forums Del-ton appears to have an adequate reputation for my purposes.

The Stag is 1-9 twist, comes with BUIS, and a 30 round mag,  mil-spec buffer tube etc. and has gotten good reviews and good Customer service ratings.

This will be a General Purpose , "social" rifle.  I basically want it to go bang and be able to have fun with it.

So I am basically looking for thoughts on the Del-ton kit, the hundred dollar difference buys some BUIS and a PMag or two, but I don't want to sacrifice reliability either.

TIA,
Brandon
