I've been reading like crazy and have been slowly acquiring parts over the last month or so. So far I have an AGP lower witn the Palmetto State Armory LPK with the Magpul stock, grip and guard. I followed the instructions and the function tests here and it wasn't too bad at all, no detents flying or anything!

Ordered a Spikes middy last night and am still deciding on a rear sight. I dont want to jump right into optics because I want to learn to shoot irons at first and those bad boys aren't cheap. If anyone has a recommendation or better yet, rear sight for sale I'm all ears. Im leaning toward the DD A1.5, looks like a pretty simple setup. This is mainly going to be a fun/plinking/target gun so i don't need all the tacticool stuff, just keepin it simple, for now anyway. I think I've got the BRD.

Please excuse the iPhone pics.

The DD A1.5 is a great sight for the money. Troy IMO makes the best flip up rears out there and the price is very reasonable on them. Only thing I can offer for advice, if you plan on using the A1.5 down the road as a BUIS you will be stuck going with a lower 1/3 co-witness. A flip up rear gives you the choice between the 1/3 and absolute.

Matechs are available all over the place, cheap as you can find and work. The aperature is small but it seems to work for our troops. Im playing with one right now while my sets in my parts box.
