So I started this build (my first AR) a year ago, slowly acquiring parts as I could afford them. Needless to say it was a long time coming and finally getting it done is awesome!!
Lower: Rock River Arms LPK: CMMG Buffer tube and assembly: BCM Impact Weapons QD Receiver end plate once Brownells gets them back in stock Stock: Magpul CTR Upper: AERO BCG: BCM Barrel: Spikes CHF 14.5" Middy (1:7) Handguard: Yankee Hill 12" Diamond Series (with end cap) Dust Port Cover: "Molon Labe" engraved inside Muzzle Brake: Lantac Dragon (loud as hell but love this thing, possibly my favorite part of the build) BUIS: Magpul (front and rear) I think that covers the heavy hitters. Just got to test it out this past weekend and it worked flawlessly. Love how it turned out, and love how it shoots even more ...... now if I can just figure out what glass I want to put on top. Can't decide between an Aimpoint or a low power variable like an MTAC, or even Primary Arms new 1-6x coming out in a few weeks. Anyway, thanks to you all for all the knowledge on this site!! http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s614/ajandrs/WP_20131231_014_zpsee3ab7ed.jpg http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s614/ajandrs/WP_20131231_013_zpsa51340ac.jpg http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s614/ajandrs/WP_20131231_017_zpsaf711411.jpg |

Well no sooner did I finish this build then I wanted to change it. Ended up selling that heavy yankee hill rail (21oz) and got the new BCM KMR13 rail (7.5oz). Feels like an entirely new rifle now. Also added the new Primary Arms 1-6x scope that was released this week to finish it off. The only change I have left to make is the grip, think I'm going to go with the BCM Mod 0 grip, but we'll see! http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s614/ajandrs/WP_20140524_002_zps28344715.jpg |
