Hi All,

I am going to SBR my very first AR15, and here is the list of the upper parts. What do you think? If you know cheaper parts with the same quality, please suggest! Also, I plan to have a suppressor (Saker) on this rifle, do I have enough clearance with 10 in rail or does it need an inch at least?

Arms Collective Raptor 5.56 Charging Handle
CMT Billet Upper Receiver
WMD GUNS Bolt Carrier Group (full auto, NiB-X coated)
AAC BRAKEOUT FSC 5.56MM 51T 1/2X28
Rainier Arms Selectâ„¢ 5.56MM Barrel - 10.5
Troy .750 Low-Profile Gas Block
Standard AR15 Barrel Nut
Spike's Tactical Melonited Black Mil Spec Gas Tubes

Thanks all!

I would say it depends on the rail and if it's a true 10" or not, because not all rails are exactly the stated length. I would say that if your just going to get the Saker as a suppressor, just go ahead and get their flash hider and skip the AAC brakeout. That way if your rail does cover some of the flash hider you can still get the easy on/off with the Saker. The AAC mount for it has a locking ring that needs to be twisted to attach and remove it, which the SilCo mount will not have. And besides brakes of any kinda can be brutal to shoot on an SBR with no can attached

Rainier match 10.5 - $209
Rainier Match Gas Block for their barrels - $47
Rainier Gas Block Pin -$30

One stop shop and probably $5 shipped on large orders.

Raptor - might be a better price with free shipping over $99 - $85

I know you want to make it an SBR but you can run the SB15 Sig Brace from the shoulder and save yourself $100.
Granted its non adjustable.. and not a true sbr because of the front vertical grip... but it is an option.

How much is that WMD bolt? They are super nice but $200 if I recall.

The reason I want a brake is that I read from somewhere that the brake will serve as a sacrificial baffle for the can and it may help the life of the can.

There is/will be a brake available for the Saker depending on which one your getting. The 556 has the hoplon baffle  which is the blast baffle so a brake isn't totally necessary. The 762 omits this and I could understand why you would want a brake. Only problem is finding one out in the wild.

I would ditch the Troy gas block and get a Rainer GB or a SLR adjustable GB if you want that option.
