Hello everyone. I've been lurking around the board for about a year and now but have not posted very often. I finally finished by first two AR's. Here are the photos and specs: I hope you all approve.

RRA mid-length profile barrel with A2 style muzzle brake and shaved bayonet lug

Postban bushmaster lower with fixed "tele-style" stock (to be switched out with a RRA 6-position tele-stock in Sept.)

Thanks to everyone on the board for all the expertise and advice. It has made the whole process of building these AR's much more enjoyable and also saved me a lot of $$$.

Ahhh, another man who has BOTH optics and a gun to go with each of them. So tell me, when are you getting an ACOG and another AR?

Awesome rifles! Since you have both EOtech and Aimpoint on similar sized rifles, do you have a preference for one over the other?

I love the EoTech. The Aimpoint just arrived last week courtesy of G&R Tactical. I have not had a chance to get to the range yet. I'll let you know as soon as I have a chance to compare the two.

EXACTLY what my next AR is going to be. Been planning it for a while but waiting till Sept.

Very nice! I planned on saving for a build similar to your first picture but a 6 week trip to England just popped up and it took a knife to my bank account.

I'll catch up to you by December :)

Nice Carbines! I really like the Ace stock/Midlength combo. I've got a very similar setup, but mine has a CavArms C1 stock and a Bushnell Holosight.
