Now that I got a pic up can somone tell me what kinda brake is on this thing ?I know the pic is bad but my camera is on it's last leg . The brake is solid on the sides but has 6 holes around the center one . The sides of the brake are fluted I guess to look like a flashider . I want to take this off myself but can'r find any pin marks or weld spots ,but it looks to have been silver soldered on and the solder painted black . I can look down the barrel with alight and see threads on the in side of brake .

You might want to crop you pic a little more.  I'm not giving you a hard time, just saying that it would be easier to view the weapon if there was less bedspread visible.

The brake looks like an A3.

I am going to take a stab and say thats a high rise mount....and maybe he has a removable carrying handle.

Yeah that's a riser with a reddot on it .  The rifle has a flattop, bushy 1/9 barrel and t-numbered ,upper bushy bolt  .

It's a little too close to the detachable carry handle to see it clearly, but the optic is NOT attached.
