And here it is:

It's a PSA mid-length dissipator upper on an Anderson lower. The lower was so easy to assemble, I feel like kicking myself for not having done it sooner. While I really like irons, my eyes don't care for them much anymore, and most RD sights are a PITA to use with my astigmatism. The TA47 gives me a very clear sight picture under any conditions with just a little bit of magnification, and is durable enough that I won't have to worry about it going tits-up on me.

At first, the gun was a single-shot, due to the damn o-ring under the extractor. Once I removed that, everything worked as it should. I zeroed at 50yds, getting groups just over an inch. I put an ALG QMS trigger in it (the trigger in the LPK I got from PSA was such a turd it wouldn't even fit into the receiver without fitting), and while it IS a hell of a lot better than any "stock" trigger I have ever tried, it's no SSA, and this rifle has one of those in it's future. So I guess the rifle is really almost finished. Merely giving the BCG a cursory wipe-down to clean it put a big smile on my face; the NiB BCG was money well spent.

Looks real good I like it. How does that stock feel weight wise?

Im'ed for the guard I need one to finish my build.

The rifle's just a very little bit nose-heavy, but I really like the stock. I'm not much for collapsibles, and the only reason I didn't get a USGI A1 stock was because of the cost of piecing one together. This thing beats the shit out of the GI A1/A2 stocks IMO, and I'm very glad I got it.

Your trigger guard will be in the mail tomorrow morning.

Nice. I'm toying with doing another 20" build and that stock was on my list.

You're the man, thank you!

when did PSA make a Dissipator with a fake gas block instead of a front sight?

They didn't. I forgot to mention that, since there would be no iron sights on this gun, I replaced the FSB with a low-profile gas block.
Oops...

Looks good op.
get an SSA-E, and some better glass. She'll be a real shooter then.

I'm very satisfied with the TA47; it suits the rifle's purpose and what I want out of it perfectly. The trigger on the other hand, not so much. I had hoped that the QMS would suffice but alas, having owned numerous rifles with 2-stage triggers before, I'm hopelessly biased in their favor.
