Me and my 10 year old are done with our first build.  RRA 16" M4 upper with a dominator rail on a DPMS lower with a Magpul MOE grip.  Put a 6 position collapsible on it, and I have a question.  Anyone know of a good tool to tighten the castle nut on the buffer tube.  I used a set of vice grips with duct tape on them and it tightened up pretty good, but here's the problem: If I grab the butt of the gun and torque it pretty good it moves slightly so that the butt and the pistol grip aren't perfectly lined up.  Got on Midway and saw the reviews for the DPMS CAR wrench as well as the ProMag and almost everyone said they were horrible.  So, have I done something wrong in installing the collapsible stock, or do I just need a special wrench to lock it down solid.

Hope to get it tightened up by Friday.  Me and the boy are heading to South Texas and I'd like to let him shoot his first project gun.

Thanks in advance.

AR-15 M4 STOCK WRENCH @ Brownell's for $5.99 and shipping.
Where in Texas are you?
Some AR15.COMer close to you could possibly loan you a wrench or tigthen the castle nut properly.
It is a good thing to take the boy shooting!

We live in Montgomery.  Been here about a year.  Lived in Midlothian outsided Waxahachie for the last 4 1/2 years.  I have 5 more to complete, so its probably better to get my own wrench.  Like I told someone earlier.  This site is very helpful and the folks on here seem to be great.  Thanks for the help.  I'll get with Brownell's and get it ordered.

Thanks Again.
