Hey folks,
So I've got my lower on order, LPK, FCG, etc.  I wanted to go either 7.62x39 or 5.45x39 but I know about the filthy ammo and corrosive nature or most of it aside from maybe reloading my own eventually.  Another problem in the current market is lack of availabilty.  Last night I was thinking maybe 300 blackout or 6.8 would be better, as far as ammo availability and cleanliness even though the ammo is more costly.  I know 5.45 is .22cal based and 7.62 is .30cal based.  I don't know a thing about where the 2 new choices fall into, are they both .30 cal based rounds? I also have seen more uppers out there from these 2 rather than the AK based rounds and for more affordable prices. Mags are also findable too without the time spent looking for AK-round AR mags.   All help and insight is appreciated, thanks a ton and have a good one ;)
