BRS 80% lower, completed by myself well within specs, M4 upper and LPK from M&A Parts. Everything function tests perfect. Fired for the the time today. it might shoot 1 round, 10 rounds, 3 rounds, 7 rounds, etc.  But then the trigger goes "click" with no real engagement. It seems like the FCG gets hung up on the disconnector, but when I break the weapon down, all works fine. Any ideas about what I'm missing?

Springs in right?  Another option is maybe your lower isn't in spec. Double check specs

is the hammer spring on backwards? this can cause light primer strikes as well as the trigger pin walking and misaliging parts.

also, if you did that 5 min DIY trigger job, i've seen ftf bc of light strikes as well.

Won't know until I can retest if it was the problem, but the hammer spring was installed backwards.  I'm confident this was the problem. This forum is the best!
