[ARCHIVED THREAD] - First build complete !

Finished my first AR last night. Thanks to the excellent instructions on this site, it went pretty smooth. The front detent pin was a pain, but the rest was a snap. Thanks to everyone for their help and advice.

I hope to test fire it Saturday, and will post a range report.

I will post pics tonite, if someone will tell me how.
Meanwhile, a rundown of the components :

Spikes Tactical lower
RRA 16" SS Midlength upper
YHM FF quad rail
Phantom 5C2 FH
M4 stock with 1st Samco stock saddle
Unknown vertical foregrip (got it at the gunshow)
NC Star 2-6 scope (this is a temporary glass until I decide what to put on it)
WalMart tactical light (the Brinkman-just curious to see how long it will live)
Sling Systems sling

Guess I got a case of BRD - I'm already thinking about another build.hinking.gif

Again, I can't thank the good folks here on AR15.com enough for all the advice and instruction. I will be test firing her this weekend and I will post the results. Thanks again, all !
