i just bought a Factory New Magpul UBR stock. do i need to buy a buffer tube and spring or does it come with one? Also specs on my 204 ruger build, let me know what you think: RRA matched upper and lower RRA LPK and NM 2 stage trigger Magpul MIAD Shilen 24" SS bull barrel w/matched bolt RRA BCG and upper accesories JP Vtac handguard or Hogue Knurled handguard (havent decided yet-suggestions?) RRA cantilever mount or Armalite Cantilever mount or Larue (havent decided yet) not sure on scope yet thanks |
| The UBR uses a CARBINE buffer and buffer spring. I would start with a regular weight buffer. I have a .204 also, GREAT coyote gun. I had trouble with accuracy then found out that rapid fire with ballistic tip ammo was my problem. The ballistic tip was melting due to the heat ( after 4-5 rounds) and accuracy quickly went in the toilet. My solution was to run 34gr BTHP. Also , my .204 copper fouled very easy the first 100 rounds or so, but you are using a much higher quality barrel so you might not have that problem. Just remember if accuracy is good then starts to decline it most likely is a copper fouling problem. Good luck |
