I just finished my first rifle and only ran into one issue. When it came time to seat the rear take-down pin it was pretty tight. I had to tap it in with the end of a hammer handle. It went all the way in, but is going to be a pain to get out.
I used a Tactical Machining lower with an RRA Entry Tactical upper. There is absolutely no play between the upper and lower. Everything else fit perfect. Just tight between the upper and lower. Anyone else run into something like that? |
| Not just RRA. Everyone of the 4 lowers I've built had "tight" front and rear take down pins. Just put a little bit of lube on them and push them in and out a few times each time you look at your new rifle while sitting at home (in between actually getting to shoot it at the range). Didn't take too long for the pins to loosen up a bit on mine and they can now be pushed out by hand. |

Don't worry about it. It will loosen up over time.
