Hi all,
I have been reading here for a while and decided to get a black rifle. I think I narrowed it down to two Colts, the LE6920 or the MT6731. I am leaning toward the MT6731 just because I like the non-adjustable stock better and the target barrel (if more accurate). I will be using this for target and plinking. The club I am in has a 300 yds range I am choosing the Colt because I think it should hold it's value better. Can someone explain the differences in the two models. I plan on getting all of the attachments (scope, bipod for starters) if it grows on me and hope I can do that with the MT6731. Thanks for your help in the past and for the future! |

First, hello and welcome.
I would definitely go with the LE6920. Much lighter barrel and all the “evil” features. It’s the most popular Colt and will have a much better resale value over the MT6731 should you ever sale. They cost about the same and will do all the same things. If you just have to have the A2 stock for some reason, you could always sell the complete M4 stock for about $100 and buy a complete A2 for about $50.
