| Since I owned my first AR, many moons ago, I've always run a 1x red dot sight. Up until now, that has worked perfectly; but as I get a whole lot closer to 50, I find my vision ain't quite as sharp. I bought the Aimpoint 3x magnifier, but I found it too bulky and sold it. I'm thinking about going to either a 1-4x 30mm tube, or a fixed 3x or 4x setup. My question is this: At very close (room-sized) distances, does the magnification present a problem with target acquisition? I'm worried about blurring, FOV issues, etc. Thanks for your comments. |
