I'm thinking of taking my Colt 16" 7.62x39 upper and converting it over to a dissipator with free floating handguard and low profile gas block.
First though I'm looking for the items needed and am first looking at front sights. I want to keep it a fixed A2 style sight and the only one I've found that may work is the JP front sight post. Does anyone know of others? These will have to be (I believe) clamp-on... of sorts. Thanks |

Thanks DirectDrive... that's exactly the other options I was looking for. I like the Armalite a lot better than the JP already. I'll call and see if it will work for me. Be prepared to go to the extended sight post, because the Armalite may not be "F-marked" Also check your barrel's diameter....you may need to shim. |
