How to decide between a fixed or variable scope? Thanks...limey

Variable is one more thing to break, mainly an issue on cheap scopes. Depending on design details, the variable can cause changes in parallax and reticle size to harm accuracy when shifting focus.

I struggled with that dilemma recently. In the past I've always opted for a variable power only to find that at the ranges I normally shoot (100 to 200M), I left it on 9 power all of the time. I decided to give the 10X Super Sniper a try and I love it so far.
