[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Fixed sights

I am looking for a set of fixed sights. The three sets I'm looking at are Daniel Defense, Troy, and Samson.

So overlooking the Troy hate, which is the better set and why?

I have Troy folding and DD fixed A1 style. Both have been great

I own both the Troy and the DD fixed rear sight. FWIW, the Troy looks and feels sturdier. The DD is an extrusion. It's very light weight if that's what you want, but it looks and feels cheaper and flimsier.

You might also look at the LMT and Larue rear sights.

I like the DD A1.5 sights alot, own a few sets i haven't managed to break. I'm no metallurgy expert but I think they are actually machined 6061.
