Quick question, could not find it via the search feature here...

I happen to have a post ban fixed telestock from Bushmaster collecting some dust.

Is there a way to salvage the buffer tube and get a new stock to make it collapsible

OR

salvage the stock itself so I can just get/order a new buffer tube to make it collapsible?

If so, how do I take it all apart? (aka, unpin it?)

Thanks,

it has the long buffer tube and there are two blind pin holes (about 3/32 on my bushmaster) it can be removed but a 6 pos stock is not going to work on the long tube. i think it is just a lookalike because the lever doesnt move, its just bolted for show

i put a magpul on mine and pinned it but had to buy the 6 pos tube and shorter buffer and spring. just make sure if you buy a stock and the correct tube and buffer. if the stock is for a milspec tube get a milspec buffer tube

The Bushmaster ban type M4 stocks had a special rifle length buffer tube. There is no way you could collapse it with out buying a new tube.

Have you considered doing a trade for a regular collapsible M4 stock and tube with someone from a ban state?
