FWIW, a flash "hider" is a cone looking device used in WWII mostly, what your looking for is a flash SUPPRESSOR.

Vortex G6 is best ,with the Phantom (models - YHM-28, 5C1 & 5C2) a close second.

I'VE HAD THE CHANCE TO COMPARE THE PHANTOM AND VORTEX CONSIDERABLY. BOTH ARE GOOD; THE VORTEX HAS A SLIGHT EDGE.

THE NOVESKI KFH, A "CONE SHAPED DEVICE" INTERNALLY, IS REPORTED TO DO A GOOD JOB WITH FLASH. I HAVE NOT COMPARED IT IN LOW LIGHT YET WITH THE PREVIOUS TWO.

Does the Noveski KFH do a good job a HIDING the flash from the SHOOTER'S vantage point (like the WWII devices), or does it actually do any SUPPRESSION?
