Is it safe to remove/install a flash hider with the upper only installed in a action block clamped in a vise, or does the barrel need to be in a barrel vise. I would expect that at the very least you would want the upper supported at both the receiver end as well at the end of the barrel if it was only locked into a action block.
How about it, is this safe or does it put undo strain on the action? |
