Anyone know if A2, A1 or 3 prong FHs have any effect on accuracy one way or the other? If they do which stlye is the best.I did read that the A2 style does act as a brake do to it's closed bottom design.TIA for info.

I'm not an expert but...from what I understand, flash hiders have no effect on accuracy...though proponents of the 3-prong claim they are the only way to go...I've shot with lots of folks and heard lots of excuses for poor marksmanship, but I've never heard anyone blame their flash hider.

a2 style works great as a brake. Not mine but we tried it on a FA 10.5 inch. the barrel pushes down off target. Its different,, untill you get use to it.
