I am gonna be getting my first AR-15 (it will be a Rock River) and it will be a 20 inch that I am gonna customise to look like an Vietnam area A1. I have straight 20 round magazines and surplus triangle handguards that I got that are still in there original packaing. I guess I will cut to the chase. Anyway eventually I am gonna order off of this one site a1 style 3 prong flash hider and it has the options of no washer, crush washer, peel washer or lock washer. Should I get a washer with it? And if so which of those three is my best choice?Have Albert Wesker Resident Evil: Code Veronica X

And the lock washer is even more old school.

The whole idea of the peel washer is to time the A2 device. There's no typing with a 3 pronger. Although it is nice to try to make sure there's not a slot straight up.

+1 Lock washer is what you need.  Bushmaster carries them also if you can't find anywhere here.
