I understand that the flash supressor on my 6920's are removeable, is this true? If so, then how would you go about doing this and what would be a good reason to do so? Just was curious, I am always up for learning new stuff about my EBR's.

The fs has wrench flats on it. Secure the barrel and unscrew counter clockwise. Not everyone likes the A2 hider, so they switch to something else. If you ever needed to remove the front sight base, the fs would have to be removed.
