Brand new LAR 8 with a factory birdcage.  I want to replace it with an AAC adapter for my can.  I'm new at this and I don't want to mess anything up.  It has 2 flats for a wrench and no pins that I can see.  But does look like it has a washer behind the FP.  Can just turn it off?  Add heat, what?  tia

You'll need to out it In a vice block, but as long as it's not pinned/welded should turn off. Lefty losy

if rockset was applied when the flash hider was installed you need to soak in water because rockset is water soluble but it should just come off using wrenches...
