| I have ordered the Mako vertical grip with incorporated flashlight mount, from High Ready Tactical. It has been nearly a month and it hasn't shipped yet. I'm considering cancelling my order and getting something different. My question is, does anyone know the diameters of the handles on the Surefire 6p, or the Pentagon x2 or ex2. All the information on the sites lists bezel diameter. The bexel is the head of the light right? This doesn't seem to help in sizing a mount, or am I wrong? The Mako mount I ordered says it takes a 1 inch light such as the Surefire G2. I don't really want a G2. If I was to change mounts and buy a Pentagon x2 what size mount would I need? I guess thats my real question. Sorry for rambling. Thanks |

Mako is notoriously slooooooow. The diameter of the bodies of most Pentagonlights is one inch. I have one mounted in an Elzetta mount that looks like this: ![]() Photo courtesy of Rainier Arms (thought I'd provide a link to Stickman's work as there is no way I can take a photo this good BTW: The Elzetta mount will accomodate lights from 0.7 to 1.1 inches in diameter. |
