i am searching for a 16" car barrel. i like the YHM fluted barrel but i would rather have on that is stainless. is there a stainless on with possibly straight flutes instead of the diamond ones that yhm offers for around the same price ~$200?

A stainless steel, fluted, barrel for $200. Ahhh, sure.

Is there a reason why you want the barrel to be stainless steel instead of chrome-lined CM steel?

Bushmaster does.

J&T (aka DoubleStar Corp.)offers fluting on some of their barrels as well.

Many industry dealers on ARFcom can flute your barrel as well.

I'm sure I am missing someone...
