Yes, you can install the anti-tilt followers in the curved 20rd mags. However, you cannot install them in straight 20rd mags, the follower is designed to tilt in these and if it cannot, the mags will not function properly.

Just to expand on this a bit, be advised that with 20 rounds in the mag, the anti-tilts "legs" are almost touching the floorplate, and when you load on a closed bolt, they are touching, and even pushing out on the floorplate slightly. As far as I know, this should not be a problem, but I just wanted to point this out, and hopefully get some feedback from other shooters.

You will not have any issues, we use the same anti-tilt followers in our 20rd and 30rd aluminum magazines, both of which are curved.

Yeah I tried loading one on a closed bolt, and that thing was a pain to try to get in there. I also noticed that when I was putting the 20th round in, it was extremely stiff and made a crunching noise. Maybe the mag just needed to be broken in, but all 5 of them did it. (For reference, they were C products aluminum 20 rd, curved mags).

I always slap hard when putting in a fresh magazine, so that's pretty fine with me. I do tend to down load mags by two rounds also, i.e. 28 in a 30, 18 in a 20. I really like these CProd 20s, and the great price makes them a winner for me.

They are excellent mags, but with all of the US GI aluminum mags and P-mags, I've never had to download or slap them very hard to always get a consistent seating. Either way, I guess it's a good habit to learn and practice with.

Magazines should not need to be broken in. If you want to return those magazines we will gladly send you new ones at no charge. E-mail [email protected] and she will give you an RMA to send them back.

I think it's probably just me being finnicky. I haven't put any rounds through them yet, so I'll bet it will all be ok. Thanks for the offer though.
