Hey Guys
I am looking at a Mako foregrip bipod combo. I do not know alot about them and am wondering if anyone has one of these and if they like them. Also if there are any other options that may be better. I kinda like how this works but just do not have the experience to feel good about spending the money.
Any input appreciated.
Janet

I have the older version and like it.  It's kinda bulky, but it's nicer than the .mil version imo.

I would tell you to get a Tango Down or Larue.  MOE to be more economical.

I don't know about mako but grip pods are nice get the metal legs they are just a little too high for bench shooting but great for prone.

Overall I find bi-pods in grips or harris style too heavy for the free shooting I enjoy.  You have to know how you plan to use the rifle then accessorize that direction not just throw on everything then try too shoot it will just be heavy and unbalanced.  As far as VFG's go I dislike them and larue's FUG is very expensive for what it is.

I'm torn between a grip pod or just a standard foregrip. My carbine-length rifle had a foregrip and I loved it, but I haven't tried it on my middie yet.
