Have a question. Looking at installing a Fortis REV 12" rail on a new build. Question I have, will any low profile gas block work or did I need something special? Clamp on, set screw, etc. Thanks for the help.

I used the YHM set screw style on both of mine. No problems.

I did the same but the clamp looks like it should fit fine as well. If you look up the inner diameter before ordering you'll be fine

It clears both set screw and clamp on low profile GB's. Room to spare actually..

Thanks for the help. The ID of the rail is 1.34", but I have not been able to find the height of the Yankee Hill or Vltor clamp on blocks.

I cut down an A2 pinned gas block when I installed mine. I really wanted to have it pinned, and didn't want to bother with a jig.
I was able to install it without the extra work of removing the bayonet lug.
