Other than the look on the outside of the forward assist, is there any difference between the teardrop and the round forward assist?

Any one have instructions on installing a forward assist to an upper? Thanks

Other than the outward appearance of the FA, internal parts and function are the same.

If you want to add a FA to a slick side upper your shit out of luck.
