How was the selector on the 605B with burst fire, able to rotate past the stops?
Did the selector have a relief ground under the lever, or were the stops milled off?   Any pictures of one?

IIRC, there was a little relief on the underside of the lever.

Here is a picture of a couple of selector plates that were used under the special selector.  One is aluminum, and the other is vinyl.

What he said, add to that, that the "stops" kept the decalmania in place while the selector held it against the receiver.
