So I know there is some frangible ammo out there.  From my experience frangible  ammo is bad for barrel  and leaves your AR  really dirty.  Anyone fire frangible  ammo often?  I know what frangible ammo was designed for, but I also know military uses it for training.  So anyone have any info about frangible ammo, anything?

We use frangible ammo at the Sheriff's range here all the time. The only problem with it is if the rifle is not well lubed, it will have a tendency to no fully cycle the round. Other than that, it doesn't hurt the rifles at all.

The frangible ammo seem like it wear the barrel chamber quicker.  I don't think it is the round itself I think it has something to do with the higher psi for the frangible rounds, but I don't know for sure.

well, I somehow ended up with a 1000 rounds of frangible. Being too greedy to actually sell it, can somebody give me some ideas on where/what to "use" it on? I'm sure it'll kill prairie dogs, but not as effective as others. Is there a decent site to read up on them?
