I have a question for you accuracy oriented Ar guy's.Is the installation of a free float handguard a worthwile investment.I realize that all rifles are individuals as to how accurately they shoot. I guess my question really is how much of an improvement in accurracy have you experienced after the installation of a free float guard. Also does anyone make a free float guard that includes a sling stud or an Ar type attachment. For carrying only of course. Thank's |

| Few things will be as solid or reliable as the stock trigger, so thats the downside. Tuned triggers, even the drop in ones all have more potential to crap out on you. But the good ones seem to be quite durable themselves. I have a few that I like ok. Knights, JP Ent. and Rock River. The Knights and JP are noticable niceer than the RRA, but the RRA is certainly nicer than the stock. Some pf the drop in triggers like the Knights and RRA are easy to install. I hear the new McCormick tigger is also easy and I would like to try one of those. Some of the more adustable triggers like the JP, Jard, Accuracy Speaks Etc are a little more difficult to get right. Not hard, but more difficultthan just the drop in units. |
