My front sight is slightly out of alignment (it's a little to the right).  Whats the easiest way to get it back straight.  It's throwing off all of my shots, I have to have the windage all the way to get it even close to straight.  For reference it's a 20" barrel with a YHM free float handguard.

I've heard tapping it with a rubber mallet can get it back in alignment.  That's the easiest solution, unless you want to go the extra mile and reallign your FSB completely.  What type of barrel is it?  I just got a Stag and had to send it back because the FSB was off so much it wouldn't zero at all.

Had the same problem with my stag....
The replacement upper that they sent me was ALSO misaligned but not as severe.
I'm very disappointed with their quality control.

My upper came back from Stag yesterday and I haven't been able to pick it up yet, but I should have time today.  I'm taking it out tomorrow to see if it shoots any better.  Extremely frustrating!  JJK, did they give you a new one or fix the one you sent back?

They sent me a brand new one...  They have very fast service - I'll give them that.
The new one arrived 4 days after I shipped them the old one.

I decided to fix the new one myself - so I pulled the barrel...
One thing I noticed is that the barrel nut wasn't very tight...  I barely had
to put any muscle into it to break it free.
