| Well, I finally got my Larue handguard on and got the gas block, etc. reassembled but one thing is kinda bothering me about the taper pins on the front sight base. I beat on them pretty damn hard but they still stick out just a bit on the larger side. When I got the gun they stuck out a little bit on that side and they have never been a problem, I just wanted to make sure that they aren't going to back out after a couple hundred rounds. I knocked them back in further than they were before, but they still stick out just a little bit. I hit them about as hard as I could and they just were not gonna go in any further. Think they'll be alright or do they really need to be in all the way? The pins look like they are too long for the FSB, if I get them in all the way on the big side then they will be sticking out on the smaller side so maybe they are supposed to stick out a little. |
