I recently bought a front sight tool for my CMMG M4.  I just tried to use it and it is too wide to fit between the ears on the sight.  I thought all sights were the same size and all the tools were the same size, but apparently I was wrong somewhere.  What do I need to do now to get the right size sight tool?

Why not use a nail, inkpin, bullet tip or something else to make your sight adjustment?  Once you zero why are you going to change them again.

You don't need a speciality tool. I use a ball point pen and have a mini pair of flat tip needle nose pliers.

OK.  I guess I didn't need the tool in the first place.  Thanks.
