| What if any are the advantages of the front vertical grip. |

Three gun guys say they are slower than just holding the barrel in sort of a shot gun grip. It does give you an index point to make sure your grip is the same. I think it helps retain the carbine in a struggle. It also seems to make it easier to hold for long periods Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Less likely to burn yourself or let the heat get to your hand when you're doing a lot of shooting. I shoot in SWFL the regular handguard was never so hot I couldnt hold it! But I never shoot over 500rds in 1 day To the OP I have a KAC FVG & KAC RAS on my GO TO LMT D2000 M4 My Spare/Back Up LMT M4 Just has the standard LMT M4 handguard & BUIS w/ IFFYOTECH 551F or 1-3x 20mm Weaver scope I use a MAGWELL HOLD works great And dont llisten to the dumb butts who say they are worried about a Kaboom when useing a MAGWELL HOLD I even use my 30 round mags as a rest I do put a rubber dust cap on the bottom to prevent wear on the floor plate. BTW main reason I bought a KAC VFG & RAS was just to HANG A LIGHT and the FVG helps alot when I want to hit the Surefire Light |
