| I see a lot of rifles with scopes and front sights. Does this interfere with the sight picture while looking throught the scope? Also, why have BUIS is you have a scope on your rifle? Thanks |

So long as the scope is 2 1/2 power or higher, you won't see the front sight when using it. Since it's possible for any optical sight to get whacked off POI or flat out broken in the field, a lot of people keep a back up iron sight on the rifle. I personally don't, but I do have a back up in my pocket. Haven't had to use it yet, and hope I won't.

If a front sight in your view is something that's going to bother you, you can order weapons from most manufactures with a milled gas block (or retrofit them late) which is a gas block that has no sight on it. Then you can order clamp on flip up front sights that work very well. Looks like this. Then you couls use an A3 carry handle w/ sight or some other BUIS.
