| Can somebody provide me with the diameter and thread pitch of the front sight post. I want to thread a hex bolt from below to hold the post steady. |

The front sight post is an 8-36 (0.164" diameter by 36 TPI) screw thread. A common practice is to thread the hole in the FSB all the way through and run a socket head set screw up into the hole, from the bottom, to lock the sight post into position. HTH . . . . . Doug |
