Ok...I want to take off the standard FSB and install an ARMS #41-B folding front sight. It looks like it has just two allen head bolts to tighten it to the barrel. Am I correct on this? Anyone who has installed this sight please chime in. Just wondering if there are actually pins that have to be put in like the standard front site or if it is just the two bolts that tighten it down to the barrel.

Thanks,
Ryan

Anyone have any experience with this front sight?

Not personally but it says only Allen wrench is needed

It uses a 5/32 hex wrench to tighten, and it's TIGHT.

Awesome...thanks for the replies!

USM0083- how do you like the sight? Worth the money in your opinion?

It seem pretty solid, and is definately worth the money.  A gas block + (quality) folding front sight is about the same price but with more parts, and clamp on type gas blocks are really strong.  The barrel is a Denny's Operator barrel with DD Omega handguards, and I've got a TA33R-8 on order to go on top.

Cool...thanks for the reply. Glad to hear that its a solid unit and seems to work well for you. I love the look of the standard sight but wanted the option to fold it down if I needed it to. Think i'll put in an order in a week or so. Thanks again.
